How it Looks and how it Sounds

What Makes a Good Name?

To be brandable, your name should be good-looking and easy to spell, type, and talk about. It has to ‘look’ and ‘sound’ just right. Ideally, 5 to 10 alphabetical characters with a .com suffix, which is the most valuable and globally recognized for business and branding.

Determining Value

It’s the NAME that counts! Automated appraisal tools are not to be taken seriously. Neither should historical data like DA, backlinks, age, etc., acquired from previous websites, which may not necessarily transfer or be relevant to your new web property. Today, search engines use AI, relying more on topical relevance and content quality than historical metrics.

Because domains don’t have fixed prices, we have listed each as a qualified estimate in the form of a “price range,” within which you can make your best offer.

Our domain names may be purchased via invitation only; they are not publicly available.

Can’t I Simply Register a Name?

Of course. But have you ever tried to register a domain, with a .com suffix, that ticks all the boxes for your specific brand project? It’s almost impossible. While many are in daily use for web properties, most have been acquired over the years and hidden away, ready to sell for megabucks in the future.

It’s a shame that so many good names are kept in the dark, rather than being put to good use. With this in mind, VizBrands was set up in order to curate unique domain names that will be used, not abused.

Who Curates the Names?

Tony Stanton heads up VizBrands. Having spent many years in web publishing and domain procurement, his knowledge and experience are now being employed to identify and acquire domains for our growing portfolio.

Tony is also the legal registrant of the domains, which means you will be dealing directly, rather than via intermediaries.
